Our beloved Kok, Mui Fong (郭梅芳) passed away peacefully after a brave battle with health issues on August 1, 2021 in Victoria, BC. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Chi Pang; wonderful children Rosa, David (Annie), Angela (Kim) and Dominic; and 3 beautiful grandchildren. Her pure kindness, graceful smiles, and courageous mind will be remembered by relatives and friends from all over the world.
Mui Fong was born and raised in a big family in Macau to parents Kwan (坤) and Tai (娣). They had relocated to Hong Kong later where Mui Fong attended college and fell in love with her husband, she then married Chi Pang at the Hong Kong Roman Catholic Cathedral in 1966. They spent the next 30 years raising 4 children while teaching numerous pupils. After retirement, they moved to Canada (Victoria, BC) to be with their grown children. Over her cherished life, Mui Fong enjoyed music, painting, volunteering, gardening, reading, and watching TV. She took delight in her dogs. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, especially during weekend trips and dinners.
Mom, we are grateful for your unconditional love and care for us. We love you wholeheartedly. You will always be in our hearts and prayers. We will forever remember your kind smiles and warm heart. May God bless you in Heaven.
A funeral mass for our beloved Mui Fong will be held in Victoria, BC at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Monday August 16, 2021 at 10:00 am. Live stream link for the funeral mass will be available soon.
