It is with broken hearts that the family of the late MICHAEL A. SLANEY of St. Lawrence announces his passing. Michael passed away at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre, St. Lawrence on Friday, March 5th, 2021 at the age of 78. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Tina of 29 years; daughters, Tracy Pike (Darren) of St. Lawrence and Jeanean Lundrigan (Bill) of Paradise; 5 grandchildren, Bradley (Lisa), Stephanie (Jeff), Danielle (Shawn), Liam and Madison; 4 great-grandchildren, Zachary, Kristian, Grayden and Carsen; sisters, Yvonne Hillier of St. Lawrence, Martha Emberley of St. Lawrence, Bertha Doyle of St. Lawrence, Isabel Slaney of Toronto, ON, and Jane Ramsarup (Gino) of Toronto, ON; brother, Howard Slaney (Beth) of St. Lawrence; sisters-in-law, Regina Kelly (Jack) of St. Lawrence, and Alice Tobin (Randy) of St. Lawrence; brothers-in-law, Theo Fitzpatrick (Donna) of St. Lawrence, Dave Fitzpatrick (Rose) of St. Lawrence, and Gerard Fitzpatrick of Ontario; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, Austin & Lydia Slaney; brothers, Augustine Slaney and Austin Slaney; nephew, Trent Doyle; brothers-in-law, George Doyle and Bill Reid; parents-in-law, Isabel & Alfred Fitzpatrick; and sister-in-law, Marguerite Ghaney.
At Michael’s request cremation has taken place.
