MacArthur – The death occurred
at the St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish, NS, on Friday,
December 10, 2021, of Erma MacArthur, of Richmond, aged 99 years. Born
in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late John Peter and Mary
(Condon) Gaudet. Survived by her children Douglas (Francine), Brian
(Donna), Barbara (Jack
Machielsen); grandchildren Katherine (Craig),
Suzanne, Jonathan (Max), Rachelle (Stuart), Malcolm, Adam
(Lindsay), Amy (Warren), Alex (Victoria), Stephen, Sarah (Jonathan)
and Christopher; great-grandchildren Bennett, Cameron, Owen, Emily and
Eloise. Predeceased by her husband Herman MacArthur; sisters Gertrude
DesRoches, Mary Gaudet and Una Cameron; and by brothers Alden,
Desmond, Maurice and Lex Gaudet. Resting at Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside. A public visitation (Vax Pass and photo id
required) will be held on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. A
private family funeral mass (by invitation only)
will be held on Friday at the Immaculate Conception
Church, Richmond. Interment in the Bideford United Church
Cemetery, Bideford. Memorial donations to the Immaculate Conception
Church Building Fund or a charity of your choice would be
appreciated.
