Marilyn Ruth Hebert
1943-2021
Marilyn Ruth Hebert, 78, of Shenstone passed away peacefully
on August 15th, 2021 at the Moncton Hospital with her loving family by
her side.
Marilyn was born in Stellarton, NS on January 16, 1943 the
daughter of the late Maxwell and Violet (Dykens)
Carrigan.
Marilyn worked at several jobs over the years, she worked
in a factory, drove a school bus, and worked as a courier.
She liked to keep busy. In her idle time she would
keep her hands going by either knitting or crocheting.
Marilyn also loved her game shows, The Price Is Right and Family Feud
were her favorites. She was very talented and
enjoyed singing and playing her guitar.
Some of her most memorable moments were her sitting around
with her family and friends sharing their love of music.
She also enjoyed being outdoors and fishing.
Marilyn’s grandchildren were her pride and joy, she spent many hours
in cold hockey rinks and watching sports cheering them on.
She will live on in the hearts of her loved ones
forever.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband
of 61 years, Joseph Hebert who will fondly remember her as «the
wind beneath his wings»; and also by her children, Bonnie Hebert,
Debbie Hebert, Dawn Hebert and Lincoln Hebert all of Oshawa, ON; her
cherished grandchildren, especially Deo, Tasha and Misty who were a
big part of her life; and by her treasured great-grandchildren
especially Liam and Ellie.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by a brother,
Maxwell Carrigan.
Honouring Marilyn’s own wishes there will be no public
visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside
service will be held at the Shenstone Cemetery at a later
date.
For those who wish donations to the NB Lung Association or
to the charity of the donor’s choice in Marilyn’s memory would be
greatly appreciated by the family.
