Marielle Le Blanc (née Gallant) passed away peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance hospital at the age of 81.
She was Born in St-François d’Assise, Québec to the late Lucie Poirier and late Henri Gallant.
Marielle was a resident at the Chatham Retirement Resort. She was married to the late Martin Le Blanc (1955-2017).
She will be sadly missed by her children, Suzanne, Manon (Gerald ), Danielle (Walt), Steve (Lori), Eric (Michelle), her grandchildren Sébastien (Ellen) Mélanie (Louis-Philippe), Chris (Anna), Jenn (Bill) Joel (Laura), Jeremy, Jordan (Kristen), Aron (Kaiti), Mandi (Pedro), Drew, Mason (Tricia Lynn), Emma, Ahsha, her 22 great-grand children, many nieces and nephews, 3 sisters, 4 pre-deceased brothers, best friend Bev Rose and her dog Sophie.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at the Chatham Retirement Resort for their love, care and compassion with special thanks to Lorraine.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wallaceburg Food Bank or Pet and Wildlife Rescue Wallaceburg can be left at the Nicholls Funeral Home in Wallaceburg.
