Marie’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Park announce her passing on Monday, July 12th, 2021 at her home in Lark Harbour at the age of 77 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Richard Sheppard (Michelle), Cathy Patrick (Derrick), Louis Park (Jo-Ann) and Betty Jean Hackett (Paul); Grandchildren, Erica and Taylor Sheppard, Stephanie, Travis and Steven Cormier, Richard, Andrew and Samantha Hackett, Tara-Lou and Sara Park; Step-Grandchildren, Jaxon, Cassidy, Jaxon, Callie, Tynisha, James, Tiffany, Shawn and Sharla Patrick; Great-Grandchildren, Austin, Brody, Kamyrn, Carter, Seth, Eva, Kenzie, Ryanne, Letty and Mia; Brothers, Gerald (Edna) Park and Scott (Rose) Park; Brothers/Sisters-in-law, George Sheppard, Lee (Rowena) Sheppard, Linda Janes, Moses Sheppard, Maxine Park; Special friends, Darryl Pike; Nina Druggett; Don and Brenda Traverse; her Monday night fellowship group, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marie was predeceased by her son Terrance Myles at 6 weeks old; First husband, Eric Sheppard; Second husband, Solomon Park; Her parents, Ronald and Jessie Park; Parents in law, Richard and Olive Sheppard and George and Elizabeth Park. Brother, Melvin Park; Sisters, Geraldine Sheppard (Ronald) and Barbara Pennell (Foster). Brother / Sisters in law, Gus, Cyril, Jack, Beaulah (Harry), Mary, Jacqueline, Lloyd and Sharon. The family would also like to thank her niece Amanda Pennell Vincent (Mick), God Daughter, Nicole Vincent and Nicholas Vincent, for all your help and support. In keeping with Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a service of remembrance, held at St. Jame’s Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, NL, at a later date, to be announced.
