Peacefully on October 17, 2021 at 87 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Howard (2009). Cherished mother of Barbara and her husband Kevin Wilson (son Erin), the late Donald (1984), and Michel. Predeceased by her parents Edmond F. and Elizabeth Savoie. Loving sister of the late Léonard (1985) and his late wife Denise Savoie (2021), the late Irène (2009) and her husband Edgar Landry, the late Irénée Savoie (2007), the late Ginny Savoie (1982), Gene Savoie of Montréal, and Jeannette and her husband Gérard Ledoux. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Jill was a retired General Motors Trim Plant employee. She was a proud member of St. Jérôme Church, a member of the Club de l’âge d’or, Club Alouette and Place Concorde. Gilberte was also a devoted St. Vincent de Paul Society volunteer. If you so desire, donations to St. Vincent de Paul or to the Montreal Shriner’s Hospital for children would be appreciated by the family.
