Margaret M. Connolly (nee Frizzell)
June 13, 1941 – September 27, 2021
It is with the heaviest of hearts we announce the passing of our beloved gentle mother Margaret (Margie) Connolly (nee Frizzell)
Predeceased by her husband Lawrence J. Connolly; her parents James and Elizabeth Frizzell; her sisters Joan Puddicombe and Madlene Bambrick; her brothers Mike Firzzell and Henry Frizzell; brother-in-law George Bambrick; sister-in-law Judy Frizzell; her nephew Keith Frizzell; her niece Dana Frizzell.
Left to mourn her loss are her children and their families Larry and Paula Connolly (son Wade), Paul Connolly and Jackie Kelly, Cecilia and Craig Stephenson (son Ian), Denise and Leigh LeMessurier (daughter Leah), Derm Connolly and Darlene Reardon (sons Johnathon and Jeffery); her sister Shirley Care (husband Bob); her brother Jim Frizzell.
Margie was born and raised in Goulds, however resided in Kilbride for over 40 years where she raised her family.
Margie was a homemaker, she loved to socialize and spend her time with family and friends.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A happy easy-going lady with a witty sense of humor and so many funny sayings, she always made you laugh! Margie was always there to give a hand, give advice or just to listen. She welcomed everyone into her home with love and kindness.
Margie will be remembered for all these things by those who knew and loved her and for too many more to mention.
But most of all she will be remembered because she was beautiful deep down to her soul.
The family wish to express their sincere thanks to all the staff of 4SE PVT for their kindness care and friendship to our mother over the past 3 years. She was blessed to have you all.
A special thank you to her favourite Devon, she lit up every time she saw you.
Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 1 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, October 4, 2021 at a time to be announced from St. Kevin’s Church, Goulds. Inurnment to follow at St. Kevin’s Cemetery, Goulds. Flowers gratefully accepted.
