JENNISON, Louise
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Louise Jennison on June 10, 2021. Louise will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, especially her husband of 27 years, Richard, her son, Terry (Marjorie) Markwart and daughter, Shannon (David) Miller. Also left to mourn are her grandchildren: Michael (Kaila), Ashley (Andrew), Tyler (Stephanie), and Gracie, as well as great-granddaughter, Isla; step-daughters Shaunna (Ray) and Nadine (Ken), grandchildren Bucky, Dusten, Dillen, Emily and Brooke; great-grandchildren Penny, Jillian, Kaidence and Lucas. Louise also leaves behind her brother, Richard (Annette) Schick, sister, Gladys (Len) Kaiser, as well as many much-loved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; also Louise’s
Louise was predeceased by her father Tony in 1971, her first husband, Wilfred in 1986, and her mother, Marie in 2014.
Mom was born on September 26, 1945 in Humboldt and raised in Middle Lake, Saskatchewan. She moved to Saskatoon in the early 1960’s where she eventually met the first love of her life Wilfred Markwart (married 1966), with Terry and then Shannon soon to follow. Wilfred tragically passed in 1986, and mom was fortunate enough to find a second soul mate and married Richard Jennison in 1994. Our mom had a great sense of humor, and loved to laugh. Her passions were her family, her dog, gardening, cooking for others, games of cards, and casino. Mom’s dinners and desserts would put a café to shame, and everyone left her home down a few games of crib or Kaiser, but up a few pounds from her amazing cooking! Mom was one who gave more of herself than took from others. She was so proud of all her grandchildren, and had a special twinkle in her eye when her great-granddaughter was on her lap. Mom was also looking forward to travelling to Ontario this fall for her grandson’s wedding.
We have lost an amazing mom/wife/grandma, but Heaven has gained a perfect hostess!
A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Saskatoon. For those wishing to attend, please meet at the gate at 10:15 a.m. Arrangements in care of Travis Minor – Mourning Glory Funeral Services (306) 978-5200.
