Entered the door to Glory at the Erie Shores Hospice with her family by her side on March 11, 2021 at 82 years of age. Beloved wife of Bill Porter with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage. Loving mother of Chris Porter, Sherry Switzer (Mark), Dale Porter (Joy), and Billy Porter (Pam). Treasured Mimi of Jamie Porter (Kayla), Corey Porter, Dayle Meloche (John), Jordan Switzer (Ali), Anita Thomas (Gordie), Darren Porter (Bailey), Matthew Porter, Mary Porter, Wyatt Porter, Faith Porter, Becky Thachuk (Anthony), and Jared Porter. Great-mimi of Alayah, Ethan, Jackson, Hudson, Evelyn, Isabelle, Daniel, Lincoln, Miles, and Owen. Sister of Lloyd Chase (Joan) and Nancy Boismier (Danny); the late Gary Chase, Dennis Chase (Jeannette) and Bruce Chase (Janis). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was a gracious lady who was loved by all who knew her. She had unwavering faith and a great sense of humour and was a member of Renewing Life Ministries. Lorraine will always be remembered by her grand kids for her peanut butter fudge. Lorraine is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd.
