HEAD, Lois Isabele
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at 5:30am, on Thursday October 28, 2021, with her husband Joseph at her side. Leaving Prince Edward Island at the age of eighteen with her new husband Fidel Des Roches she ultimately moved to Toronto. There taking on the work of housewife and mother, she was later employed in the accounting department of the Toronto Star for over ten years. Predeceased by her parents Adeline and Frederick DeCoste of Charlottetown, P.E.I. also a younger brother Frederick Theodore “Teddy” DeCoste (May/Lynn) of Edmonton, Alberta, as well as her oldest sister Pauline Spencely (Anthony) of Charlottetown P.E.I. Lois leaves behind her husband Joseph Andrew Head with an amalgamated family of four daughters, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild expected in march of 2022. Loving mother and grandmother of Andrea Traynor (Mike) and their children Ray (Jess) and Danielle. Tanya Lockstien (Chris) and their children Matthew (Sarah), and Quin. Denise Grant (Allen) and their children Sydney & Colin. Jenniffer Head and her children Rory, Angelica, Jadelynn, and Clarity. A memorial service will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, 905-433-4711, on Tuesday November 2nd at 11:30am. Registration is required to attend. The family wishes to thank the medical staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on C-6 floor for their wonderful care.
