Linda Marlene Richards nee White April 1st 2021

Linda Marlene Richards (White) was born on September 12, 1947 to her parents Edward and Gladys (Hanson) White. Linda passed on peacefully in her sleep in the early morning of April 1, 2021 in her home in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Linda was born in Broadview, Saskatchewan and was raised on their family farm with her older brother Wayne and younger brother Kevin. She attended school in Kipling, Saskatchewan earning her high school diploma in 1965.
She spent most of her working life in a near 30-year long career with the Federal Government, working in various offices between Regina and Saskatoon, continuing her education throughout with many courses and classes expanding her knowledge and advancing her position. Linda retired from the government in 2011, dedicating her time to her many passions such as reading, book clubs, her church, and spending time with her family.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Ed and Gladys. She is survived by her daughters Krista (Corrie) Kelln and Kara Lee (Nolan) Richards-Hubbard; grandchildren Chase (Raylene) and Morgan (Nicholas) Richards-Muskaluk, Logan and Mikayla Kelln; great-grandson Wyatt Martuo; brothers Wayne (Merle) White and Kevin (Amanda) White; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and friends around the world who mourn the passing of this bright, warm, beautiful Soul.
Private Family Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) with Eastside United Church, Regina, Saskatchewan with Rev. Russell Mitchell-Walker officiating. You are invited to attend the service virtually via Facebook at www.facebook.com/EastsideUnitedChurch. Linda will be laid to rest with her parents in Lansdowne Memorial Gardens, Kipling, Saskatchewan.
Linda was an avid book lover, encouraging and instilling that love into all members of her family. She would always have a book or two with her for her daughters, nieces, nephews, and grandkids. As well as books, she had a love for animals. She always had cats that she loved and spoiled and would always bring treats for her daughters’ dogs, who she referred to as her ‘grand fur babies’. She was compassionate and cared deeply for her family, friends, and those in the community around her. The following organizations are just a few of the causes that were very important to her. And so, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Humane Society (donate), Regina Public Library (donate), Carmichael Outreach (donate) or CityKidz Regina (donate)

Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Linda Marlene Richards nee White April 1st 2021..
