Linda Eileen Barton
1947-2021
It is with heavy hearts we announce the death of Linda E.
Barton of Minto, NB on March 24th, 2021. Born
in Minto, NB, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Rita
(Voutour) Barton and the loving wife of Carey «Bear» Barton.
She was a faithful wife, mother and sister who will be greatly
missed.
Linda was known for her strong faith in her Lord and Saviour;
she was always up for a good spiritual discussion which sometimes
could last for hours as she shared with those in need of
encouragement. You would often hear her saying «God has a great
sense of humour you know». Linda is enjoying her spiritual
discussions now with her Lord and her beloved son,
Jody.
Besides her husband, Linda is survived by her sisters, Carol
Campbell (Harold), Gloria Sypher (Allen), Debbie Wilson (Gary) and
Susan Skytte; brothers, Norman Barton Jr (Betty Anne), Tommy Barton,
Danny Barton (Theresa) and Terry Barton (Janet); as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents; son, Jody; two
brothers.
There will be no visitation or funeral by Linda’s
request. A private graveside interment will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the NB Heart and
Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Rehabilitation Council for the
Disabled (CRCD) would be appreciated.
