Lillian Pollard (nee Power) age 94 passed peacefully away with her family by her side on Wednesday March 31, 2021 at St.Clare’s Mercy Hospital .
Predeceased by her loving husband James Garfield, daughter Peggy (Frank), daughter in-law Marilyn (Gary) and infant son Michael Anthony.
Parents: Thomas and Mary Margaret (Keating) Power Sisters: Margaret, Marie, Edith, Molly. Brothers: Fred, Jack, Peter, Thomas, John, Bazil, James.Leaving to mourn with cherished and loving memories her family:Daughters: Jenny (Brian), Kim (Kevin)Sons: Jim (Maureen), Gary, David (Karen),Son in-law: Frank (fiancé Cyndy);Grandchildren: Michael (Lisa), Shawn (Wendy),Carolyn (Ben), Brent, Clara (Shane), Andrew (Jessica) Stephanie (Michael), Amy, Jessie (Masen), Erin (Graham),12 great grandchildren: Ben, Grace, Ryan, Rebecca, Riley, Keanan, Rya, Hayden, Lucy, Rose, Aria, and Emma,and many special nieces, nephews, and extended relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the staff on the 7th floor at St.Clare’s Mercy Hospital for the care shown to Mom during her short time there. Also a special thank-you to Genevieve a special friend and companion as well as her home care workers for their compassion and care to Mom.
Mom was a special woman and was loved by everyone that had the pleasure to know her. As a family we were so lucky to have had her in our lives. A life filled with much love, great memories and lots of laughs. She was a figure of kindness and strength and loved life to the fullest. She was and still is a beautiful soul.

A Funeral Service will be held at Mary Queen of the World Parish on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 10:00 am followed by inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
No flowers accepted donations may be accepted in Moms memory to “The Children’s Wish Foundation” .
