It is with extreme sadness broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on June 27 2021, at Anna-Laberge hospital in Chateauguay at the age of 78 years old.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Arlene of 56 years, his children Susie (Roy), Cissy (Mark), Craig (Carlene), his grandchildren Jake (Babe), Silver (Liam), Terrence (Amanda), Kawenni:io (Kanerahtontie), Joel (Sugar), Nasthon (Sha’teioseriio), his great-grandchildren Drake, Myla, Turquoise, Onyx, Skya, Bow, Arrow, Crimson, Tennesse, his mother Nora, his sister Doreen, brother Brian (Rugly) as well as his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He will join his grandson Jenner-Heston in skyworld and his many loved ones that have gone before him. From iron working to babysitting, Johnny was a jack of all trades. He was a first language Kanienkeha speaker born and raised in Kahnawake. He loved his garage and listening to the radio. He enjoyed nature and hanging out at Ruglys with all his friends. He loved classic cars and going for long rides anywhere the road would take him. He loved his family more than anything.
As per his wishes there will be no public service. The family will honour his life at a later date.
