It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that Laurent Campeau`s family announces his sudden passing, at the age of 67. Beloved husband to Diane (née Cholette). Loving father of Krystal Campeau (Louis Stamm). Cherished papi of Emma-Lily and Ava-Paisley.
Dear son of Anna Campeau (née Brunet) and the late Lorenzo Campeau, brother of Claude (Rita), Gaëtan (Germaine), the late Yvan (Suzanne), Rhéal (Bernadette), Rita (John K. Robinson), Carole (Henry Dumouchel), Carmen (Lucien Dumont), Robert, Lise (Jack Haines), brother-in-law of late Francine (Bruno Carriere), Nicole (late Gérard Poirier), Michel, Marcel (Rachel née Bourcier), Nathalie (Gaétan Fluet), uncle, great-uncle, and friend to many.
Laurent was a humble and loving man who never liked to be the centre of attention. In life and now in death, he wouldn`t want us to focus on him. He wouldn`t want those who knew him and loved him to focus on the sadness of his death, but instead focus on the great memories made throughout the years. Although we will miss him beyond words, his smile (always with that twinkle in his eye), his jokes, and his love will forever remain in our memories and fill our hearts.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of his life will occur when restrictions allow.
