Latitia «Tish» Lidstone
1924-2021
The death occurred at Community Hospital, O’Leary
on Saturday, January 16, 2021 of Letitia (Tish) Thelma Lidstone of
West Cape aged 96. Tish was born in Glenwood on April 22, 1924,
daughter of the late Bayfield and Mary (MacLean) Betts.
Cherished mother to Ruth Waite, Dianne Annand, Ivan (Bev)
MacWilliams and John MacWilliams. Step mother to Gloria Reeves, Gordon
(Thelma) Lidstone, Sharon Smith and Bonita Lidstone. Mother in law to
Brad Doucette. Loving grammy to many grandchildren, great
grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great
grandchildren. Dear sister in law to Mae Moran, Marion Betts and James
Baglole.
Tish was predeceased by her parents, first husband Arthur
MacWilliams, second husband Keith Lidstone, daughter Faye Doucette,
son in law George Annand, step-sons in law David «Bud’
Reeves and Walter Smith, brothers Orville Betts, Ivan «Dud»
Betts and sister Yvonne Baglole.
Resting at Ferguson
Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, due to Covid 19
restrictions, private family visiting hours and service will be held
on Monday for invited family. Interment to follow in the West Point
Presbyterian Cemetery.
In memory of Tish, memorials to the
West Point Presbyterian Cemetery (mailed to Paul Daley, 74
Cedar Dunes Park Road, O’Leary RR2, C0B 1V0 or IWK Foundation would be
appreciated.
