Born in Erith, Kent, England on September 9, 1922 and died in Ottawa on July 28, 2021. Husband of the late Nora. Ken served in the RAF during World War II, training in Manitoba in 1942. Ken or “The Hoop” as he was affectionately known to colleagues, friends and students came to Carleton in 1958, retiring in 1988. He was involved in the early development of the Geology Department (now Earth Sciences), teaching general geology, paleontology and his great interest, micropaleontology.
No Funeral by request. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
