Friesen, Katharina
Katharina Friesen, of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas General Hospital on July 2, 2021 in her 76th year. Beloved mother of Ben, Abe, Frank, Johnny and Peter and grandmother of 12. Pre-deceased by her parents, Abraham and Tina Dyck, 2 sisters, 1 brother, her husband Ben, and grandson Andrew. Katharina was born in Cuahtemoc, Mexico on June 2, 1945. Katharina spent her years raising her 5 children in Mexico, and then moving her family to Ontario in the late 80’s for a new life in Canada. She had the joy of watching her kids grow up and start their own families. Katharina was widowed when her husband past away in 1995. They were married for 31 years, and now has been widowed for just over 25 years. Katharina enjoyed spending her time playing cards and going out for coffee with her friends and kids and grandkids.
