Katherine Edith (Dibb) Kusan – December 4th, 1935 – December 4th, 2021. Passed away at home on her 86th birthday with her family around her. Beloved wife of Kenneth Kusan (predeceased 1992). Mother of Sharon Christie (Phil), Lynn Newton (predeceased 1986), and Larry Wright (Margery). Beloved grandmother to Derek Newton (Amy), Dayna Christie, Garrett Christie (Kitty), Rebecca Wright, Paul Wright, and Sarah Starke (Alastair). Great grandmother of Cohen. Beloved daughter of Laura and James Dibb both predeceased. Beloved sister to James Dibb (predeceased), Irene Meier (Don predeceased), and Ernie Voth (Jackie). Beloved sister in law to Boyce Kusan (Lorna) both predeceased, Steve Kusan (Gladys) both predeceased, Carl Keenan (Kathe), Marilyn Handy (Fred predeceased), Linda Rene (predeceased), Elaine Bortolotti (Sil predeceased), Elizabeth Kusan (Jack predeceased). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Kathy was an active member of All Peoples United Church, volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Extendicare Falconbridge, and at school functions for her grandkids. Kathy enjoyed camping, socializing with everyone, church functions, and family time the most. Pet-sitting was also a passion of hers – rabbits, cats, dogs; she loved them all.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury. (Friends may call 4-8pm Thursday and after 10am Friday. Face masks are mandatory.) Funeral Service in the R.J.
