Obituary of Joyce Hodgins
At Wingham & District Hospital on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 Joyce Hodgins of Wingham passed away at the age of 94.
Beloved wife of the late Jack E. Hodgins who predeceased her in 2006. Devoted mom of Dave & Melinda Hodgins and Rick & Joanne Hodgins all of Wingham and Cathy & Gordon Hill of Cobourg. Loving grandma of Jordan, Brock and Spencer Hodgins, Trevor Hodgins & Janet, Kyle Hodgins & Gab, Chris Hill & Gina, Scott & Holly Hill and Nicole & Brent Cowan. Special great-grandma of Huxley, Tye, Logan, Blake and Natalie. Predeceased by her parents William & Alma (Cathers) Jardine, twin brother William Jardine in infancy, brother Glenn Jardine and his wife Mary, sister Dorothy McDonald, and brother-in-law Arthur and his wife Alice Hodgins.
Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday, September 10th, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend visitation do not have to register, however please wear a mask and respect social distancing rules. A private funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at 12:00 noon. Please click here to view the live stream and watch safely from your home.
Interment will take place at Wingham Cemetery.
