Obituary of John William Senour
Passed away peacefully after a brief but courageous battle with cancer, with his family by his side at St Joseph’s Hospital. Age 74.
Survived by his wife Gail (nee Flynn) eight days shy of their 46th wedding anniversary. Loving father of Jennifer (Sean) and Janine. Cherished Papa of Madisyn and Nathan. Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Beatrice Flynn, his sister-in-law Judy Mackenzie, nieces Karrie, Lucy, Kristen and extended family. John will be missed by his dear friends of over 45 years – Stephen and Mary Linkert, Carol Glover, Doug and Sandra Hansen, Barry and Jacky Skinner, Liz and Sal Guadagnolo and John and Gayle Collier. Reunited with his parents Jack and Jean, brother Mark and brother-in-law Larry.
Anyone who knew John, knew his love for Rock and Roll, NASCAR, motorcycles, trains, plaid jackets, naps and his Lazy Boy chair.
Family and friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday, January 8th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Due to Covid restrictions a private service to follow.
