Obituary of John Pucovsky
Dr. John Pucovsky, DDS
Passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on January 12, 2021 at age 65. Loving husband of Mary Anne and brother Greg and his wife Colleen of Waterloo, and predeceased by his parents Emily and Mike Pucovsky. John loved his family dearly. This gentle soul will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and great friends. Born in Windsor, John later moved to the Midlik farm in Kingsville. He was an accomplished accordion player and played in The Mood Makers band in Kingsville. After graduating from the UWO Faculty of Dentistry in London, John settled in Ailsa Craig and practised in Rodney for 35 years, along with his dedicated assistant Wanda, who together provided skilled continuity of care for several generations of area families. He enjoyed nature and honed many skills and interests.
A newspaper notice of Interment in Windsor will follow in the spring when conditions improve and permit. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations would be appreciated in John’s name to the Diabetes Society, Planetary Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
