In loving memory John Gregory Borho, 69 years who passed away peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Patricia Borho (nee Arcelli). Loving father of Peter Borho (Kim) and Michael Borho (Angela). Cherished grandfather of Hannah, William, James, Ava and Ella. Dear son of Walter and Mary Borho (nee Goggins) Borho both predeceased. Dear brother of Richard Borho (Aurora), Patricia Batty (Vern), Margaret Gaber (Brian), Eileen Quinlan (Ron) and Maureen Wall (Tim). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and close friends in Sault Ste Marie. John loved to play sports, he himself played baseball, football, hockey, and loved a round of golf. John was a Soo Minor baseball coach for many years and up to his passing still reminisced about game day at Strathclair Field. John was an avid St. Mary’s Knights fan and never missed one of his boy’s football games at Queen Elizabeth Field. He was in his glory cheering his boys on with all the St. Mary’s fans. Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2pm. (Friends may gather after 12noon Saturday. Facemasks and social distancing are mandatory). Cremation with inurnment in the Civic Cemetery Mausoleum. Donations to the Liver Foundation or the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
