Obituary
On Sunday, December 26, 2021, the Lord called home his child Johannes VanderBrugghen at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Jacoba for 69 years. Loving father of Hank and Harmina Vanderbrugghen – Hamilton ON, Irma and Louis Oosterhoff – Brantford ON, Annette and Andrew Ostermeier – Stoney Creek ON, John and Cindy Vanderbrugghen – Hamilton ON, Esther and John Ludwig – Neerlandia AB. Cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. Eldest brother of Bas Vanderbrugghen – Carman MB, Henk Vanderbrugghen (deceased) – the Netherlands, Rob Vanderbrugghen – the Netherlands. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Johannes served many years as church organist, sharing his God given talents for the benefit of the congregations he served and to the praise of his God.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at CORNERSTONE CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 353 Stonechurch Rd. E., Hamilton, where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Darren Feenstra officiating. Interment to follow at North Glanford Cemetery.
