Johanna Coggins
It is with great sadness that the family of Johanna (Joan) Coggins (Lyver) announce her passing, on June 16, 2021 after a sudden illness. She was 72 years old. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.
Johanna was born in Corner Brook to Theresa and James Lyver on May 28, 1949.
Johanna enjoyed a great life, and loved her family dearly. She had a rewarding career in real estate, in Stephenville, and was revered by all. She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement at Georges Lake, and loved the outdoors and watching the wildlife.
Johanna is survived by her best friend and buddy, Gilbert Coles; two daughters, Terry Lynn (Mark), and Jackie (Toby); two sons, Raymond (Lucia), and Michael (Kimberley); and two grandchildren, Madison and Jaxen. She always liked to add that she had 4 grand puppies, Lucy, Ireland, Reno, and Bell. (This always made us laugh!). She is also survived by four of her siblings, Buck (Cavell), Maud (Roy), Isabel (Tom), and Doreen (Don); and many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all her friends.
She is predeceased in death by her parents, Theresa and James; sisters, Mary and Beatrice; half sisters, Theresa and Genevieve: and one baby granddaughter.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Western Health in Corner Brook for their support.
No funeral or memorial service is planned as per her request.
