Joanne Cassie McFarlane of Hartford, NB passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday May 1, 2021
Joanne was a Loving, caring person, and her life was all about her family, especially her grandchildren. She very much loved to travel and she was able to do a fair amount of travelling especially in more recent years. She loved her flowers and watching them grow. If there was a party, either Birthday or Christmas she would be all for Celebrating; Balloons and all !
Joanne and Hugh were faithful members of the Jacksonville Baptist Church, both members of the Choir, and they enjoyed their Church family. She was a member of the Women’s Missionary Society for over 25 years.
She always enjoyed her Social outings with friends and family, going for drives, and eating out.
Making ceramics, Knitting and Crocheting she enjoyed them all.
Joanne was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Kidney) Craig. She is survived by two sons, Jeff McFarlane (Tracey) of Milton, Ontario and Robert McFarlane of Jacksonville, NB; one daughter Janet Parish (Danny) Bedell Settlement, NB; two sisters Sharron Craig of Woodstock and Joyce Shaw (Dale) Saint John ;grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Joanne was predeceased by brother Wilford Craig.
Resting at the Scott Funeral Home, 815 Main Street, Woodstock, NB with Visitation on Monday May 3, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday May 4, 2021 at 3 pm from the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Paul Wellwood will be officiating with internment in the Jacksontown Cemetery.
