JESSIE OLIVE KING
February 26, 1929 – April 3, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie King at her home in Marathon on April 3, at the age of 92 with her son Randy by her side. Mom was pre-deceased by her husband Mac. Mom is survived by her children Garry (Kirsten), Randy, Judy and Donna (Keith), grandchildren Jason, Michelle, Amanda, Amber, Shannon and Brent, great-grandchildren Alex, McKenna, Rylee and Aurora. Born in Tuelon, Manitoba on Feb. 26, 1929 with many siblings. Mom moved to Geraldton as a young woman and there she met the love of her live Mac. They lived in a number of bush camps and resided in Caramat for many years where she was very active in the community. Mom also worked at Barretts Store where she totally enjoyed her job. Mom loved to garden and loved her flowers. They moved to Marathon in 1979 which took mom a little getting used to. She loved to travel and her and dad travelled the world. Mom was a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and I don’t think she missed watching too many games! Mom died peacefully and not alone. Service will be held at a later date.
