We are saddened to announce the passing of Jeannine Reznick on March 19th, 2021 at the age of 92 years. She joins Nicholas J. Reznick, her late husband who passed away in July 2020 and with whom she was married more than 69 years. She leaves behind her daughters Linda Jolicoeur (Pierre), Debbie Vettoretti (Renso), Karen Brown (Steve) and Darlene Dalton (Darcy) and son Nicholas P. She was the proud grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 29 children.
Born in Crysler, Ontario to parents Ethan and Eveline Dubois, Jeannine was the eldest of 9 siblings. She is survived by her sister Berthe and brothers Jacques (Claudette) and Hubert (Rochelle). Her fondest memories were based around the home they built on the Rideau River near Kemptville where she and Nick spent many years enjoying swimming and cross-country skiing as well as hosting a multitude of family get-togethers. She bestowed on her children a desire to excel and a love of music.
The family is eternally grateful to the doctors, nurses and support staff at the St-Vincent Hospital Ward 2N for the excellent and compassionate care provided to our mother. We were blessed to be supported by such a caring and thoughtful team of health professionals. A private family funeral and burial has taken place.
