Jean-Paul Mercier
The family of Jean-Paul (J.P) Mercier is saddened to announce of his passing on Monday April 5th, at age 79, in his home in Nakina Ontario.
He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse and «Bestest friend» Cecilia , daughter Adrienne,her husband John and their daughter Riannon his only grandchild. As well as his two sons J.P Jr and Real.
J.p ‘s parents were Victor and Rose-Blanche. He had many siblings, Monique, Denise, Rachel, Jean-Guy, Real, Lise, Gillette, Linda, Raymond, Michelle, Luc and Chantel. As well as many other family, neighbours and friends who loved him.
He was a kind, hardworking man who loved fishing, blueberry picking, getting firewood, anything outdoors and enjoyed sunrises. He was known to wake up loved ones in the wee hours of the morning to share with them the beautiful sunscapes or even to view frost on the roof tops.
We envision him fishing and reunited with loved ones we have previously lost; excitedly yelling «YIPPEE!» as he would when he catches that big fish.
The family wants to also say Thanks to the people of Nakina (Greenstone) for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
