EATON, Janice
Passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the age of 70. Loving mother of Graham Swallow of Hamilton and Blythe Swallow (John Pembroke) of Caledonia. Proud grandma of Phoenix. She is now reunited with her cherished granddaughter, Arya and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her grandson, Griffin. Dear sister of Margaret McKeown and her husband Barry of Sauble Beach, and Paul Eaton of Burlington. She will be sadly and dearly missed by many friends and extended family, especially her nieces, Cheryl Hendsbee and Kathy Moore. Predeceased by her parents, Maude and Charles Eaton, and by her brother Brian. Janice will be fondly remembered for her kindness and sense of humour. Special thanks to Dr. Nash, Dr. Neblitt, Dr. Lee, and to the nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. As per Janice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 3-6 p.m. A private family interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. For those who wish, donations in memory of Janice to the Canadian Lung Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time.
