Obituary of Janet Melanie Desrosiers
DESROSIERS, Janet Melanie (Barkley)
December 9, 1955 – October 14, 2021
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest Janet, peacefully at KGH surrounded by the love of her family.
Janet was the beloved wife of 46 years to Larry Desrosiers. Loving mom to Ryan Desrosiers (Tracy), Melanie Finlay (Adam) and Trent Desrosiers (Shannon). Cherished grandma of Vincent and Lydia Desrosiers, Logan, Eilidh and Eoghan Finlay, and Olivia, Emma, Liam and Mason Desrosiers. She will be sadly missed by her sister Judy Kingston (Bruce), brother Brian Barkley (Bernie), nieces Cheryl, Kim and Amy, and many extended family and great friends. Janet was predeceased by her dear parents Garnet Barkley and Marjorie Wood.
For over 40 years Janet was cherished as a daycare provider to many, many children in Harrowsmith and the surrounding area.
In keeping with Janet’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 11:00 am. All are welcome to watch a livestream of the ceremony by using this link. LIVESTREAM OF CEREMONY
