1960-2021
Gallant – The death
occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at the Prince County
Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, June 14, 2021, of Janet Gallant, of
Summerside, aged 61 years. Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of
the late Joseph «Alphie» and Roseline «Rosie»
(Arsenault) Gallant. Survived by her brothers and sisters Dorothy
(Kevin) Peddle, Donna Richards, Raymond Gallant, Melvin (Gail)
Gallant, Blaine (Geraldine) Gallant, Laura Livingston, Barb Gallant
(Blair Bowness), Gerard «Turk» (Pam) Gallant and Erma
(Stephen) Gallant; brothers-in-law Vic Richards and Robert Livingston;
and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother
Lawrence «Larry» Gallant; sister-in-law Frances
Holt-Gallant; brothers-in-law David Cheverie and Ivan
O’Brien; and by a great-niece Alysha Lynn Richards. Resting
at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Completed funeral arrangements to
be announced later. Interment will take place in St. Paul’s
Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society or the Oncology Unit of the Prince County Hospital would be
appreciated.
