James Leo John Whiteman
1977-2021
Whiteman, James Leo John –
passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2021, in Kingston,
NS. He was the son of Victoria Whiteman, Kingston, NS and
Leo Cassleman, Belleville, Ontario. He is survived by his
sisters, Jennie Whiteman (Terry Mapplebeck), Kingston, NS; Jessie
Whiteman (Jamie Sanford), Aylesford, NS; and brother, Jeremy Whiteman,
B.C.; nephew, Dylan; and nieces, Jade, Saphire, Isabelle and Davida.
He was predeceased by his grandparents; and stepfathers, Ken Hughson
and Murray Dunford. James had several occupations in his
life, his last and favourite being a truck driver. After having an
accident, he was no longer able to work. James will be greatly missed
by his family and friends. His nieces and nephews will miss the great
uncle he was to them as children. He had a good heart and would help
anyone, he struggled with his demons for years and tried very hard to
overcome to obstacles life had thrown at him. Davida says he
was always fun to visit and play with. He was a very good uncle and
would always spend hours playing with her, they always had fun, she
will always remember him. There will be no viewing or service as James
always said he didn’t want one and will be
cremated. We hope you are at peace now and will love and miss
you always. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
