Mr. James Thomas Donally Armstrong
“JIM”
of Bear Lake and formerly of Caledon East and Brampton
Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice on Friday August 6, 2021. Jim Armstrong, beloved husband of Carol, was in his 78th year.
Dear father of Jamie Armstrong (Dana), Christine Armstrong-Brochu (Gilles) and Jeff Armstrong (Jennifer).
Very proud grandfather of Trenten, Taylor, Timothy, Aviana, Evan, Everson and predeceased by grandson Shane.
He is survived by his sister Joan MacDonald and predeceased by his brother Ron Armstrong (Joan).
Jim will be fondly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The family will receive visitors outdoors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel lawn on the north side of the building on Saturday August 21, 2021 from 2 to 3p.m.
A service to celebrate Jim’s life will follow at 3p.m. with Rev. Catherine Murkin officiating.
If desired, in lieu of flowers memorial donations to Algonquin Grace Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
