Thomas “Tommy” Keith Ronwahawí:tha Jacobs, Snipe Clan, passed away suddenly at his home on May 24, 2021 at the age of 81. He will be missed by his four (4) children: Robert “Buzzard” (Judi), Eugene (Iris), Kathy (Dean) and Curtis, his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He will join his son Keith in the Sky World as well as his loved ones who have gone before him.
He also leaves behind his loving partner of many years Ginette Thivierge and her children Sylvain, Josée and Raymond.
From carpentry to ironwork, “The Champ” (TKJ), was a jack-of-all-trades who believed in hard work, shared and mentored his family with his fine skills and craftmanship. He was a first language speaker born and raised in Kahnawà:ke with his seven (7) brothers and two (2) sisters: Millie (dec.), Elmer, Roy (dec.), Russell, Donald, Walter, Martin, Nancy and Charlie. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
As per his wishes, there will be no public service. The family will honour his life and send him on his journey at his ten-day feast.
