Irene’s Obituary
STEWART, Irene – 71 of Colborne, Ontario (formerly of Jordan Bay) passed away peacefully at the Northumberland Hills hospital on Saturday December 11th, 2020 with her family by her side.
Irene was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Workman) Buchanan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who loved her family and will be truly missed by all who knew her.
She enjoyed being with her friends and family and travelled extensively with her late husband.
Irene is survived by daughter Arlene (Jon), granddaughter Kayla and great-granddaughter Ella. Sister- in-laws; Carole (Haydn),Vivian, Brother-in law Martin and niece Ashley.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Linden.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne from where a private service will take place on Friday December 17th, with burial to follow in the Jordan Ferry Union cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be in her memory to a charity of choice.
