INEZ MAY MCLEAN

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Inez May McLean at the good age of
95. Inez was born in Port Arthur to Elijah and Edith Larabee. She was the oldest of a family of eleven.
In her younger years she worked at Canada Car and at a hydro plant in Schreiber where she
met her husband Clifford McLean. In 1948 they were married and raised four children,
Sandra, Clifford, Ian and Bruce, in O’Connor township. Inez stayed at home to raise the children
and will be remembered for her homemade buns, date cake and sugar donuts. She worked
hard with no hydro or running water until 1985. Inez is survived by her sons Clifford (Susan),
and Bruce, nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and five brothers and two sisters.
Inez was predeceased by her husband Clifford, daughter Sandra, son Ian, son-in-law Wally,
daughter-in-law Danielle and granddaughter Alana.
Cremation has taken place and at her request no funeral services will take place.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 332 North May Street,
Thunder Bay.
