Hilda Susan Fayle

It is with great sadness the family of Hilda Fayle announces her passing on Thursday July 15th, 2021 at the St Boniface Hospital.
Hilda was predeceased by her parents Abraham and Agatha Klassen of Winkler, Manitoba, and her huband of 34 years, William Fayle.
Hilda is survived by her children Warren Fayle, Larry (Nina) Fayle, and her grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel and Hailley Fayle. Also left to mourn her passing are her brother Bert (Helen) Klassen and sister Martha Friesen, along with extended family and friends.
Hilda was born in Winkler, Manitoba on September 3, 1943, where she spent her first 16 years. She moved to Winnipeg in 1959 where she met her husband of 34 years William(Bill)Fayle. They moved to Germany in 1960 for the first posting of our father’s military career and returned for a second time in 1969 to 1974. Hilda had many great holidays overseas and regularly talked about her European experiences.
Hilda was a considerate and compassionate human being who treated everyone she came in contact with, with sheer kindness. Her ear was always available for those that needed some sound advice. It can be said her grandchildren were the joy of her life. Mom will be missed deeply but her gentle smile and keen sense of humour will resonate with us forever.

In keeping with Hilda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date in Winnipeg and in Tabusintac, New Brunswick.
