June 6, 1934 – March 27, 2021
Dad your wings were ready but our hearts were not. Our hearts are broken once again as we announce with extreme grief, the passing of our Dad (the king), Herbert Kelly of Collingwood. Dad passed away on Saturday March 27, 2021 at the age of 86 in his home surrounded by his loving daughters.
Herb is survived by his daughters Rhonda Kelly Burtch, Denise Irwin, Pam Kelly and son in-law Greg Coker. Proud grandfather of Chris, Catherine, Brian and Blair Burtch, Mark and Brandon (Lindsay) Irwin, Clayton and Cody Kelly (Jaimee). Great grandchildren Brayden, Payton, Harlow, Hudson, Sophie and Theodore.
Herb’s devoted four-legged friend Mickey who never left his side.
Predeceased by his wife Marlene Kelly, parents Archie and Katherine Kelly, sisters Margret, Marie, Irene and brother Dan, son in-laws David Burtch, Mike Irwin and grandson Billy B Burtch.
Special thanks to Glenna Maclean, Donna Ireland and Donna Muller. Cremation has taken place. There will be a small family gathering at the Elmvale Cemetery. As per mom and dad’s wishes they wanted to have a joint Celebration of Life, which will be held at the Collingwood LegionArrangements entrusted to Chatterson Funeral Home, Collingwood.
