Viergutz, Helen Gertrude, nee (Buchan)
September 20, 1924, to October 15, 2021, of Cambridge (Preston) and Brantford. Loved mother of Carolyn Thomson and mother-in-law to John Thomson. Especially loved by two grandchildren Kristy and Jonathan Thomson. Adored Great-Nana of Matthew, Isla and Ava who will miss her tremendously. Nana’s treat cupboard was always full for them. Beloved wife of the late Bill Viergutz (2001), after 56 years of marriage. Everyone she knew will miss her whit and laugh. Helen worked for Howard Foote Jewellers in Preston for 25 years before retiring. She was also a volunteer at Mom’s Morning out at St. Pius Parish. Helen was small in stature but certainly not in personality. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford.
