Gloria Rogers
Rogers, Gloria Jeannie (nee Carey) Twin “B”, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home, Chatham, on Friday March 26th, 2021. Cherished daughter of the late George and Doris (Johnston) Carey. Beloved sister of Glenda (Twin “A”) Board (Michael) of Blenheim, and John Carey (Violet) of Chatham. Gloria also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, co-workers, and many many friends. Predeceased by her brother George Carey Jr., sister Bonnie Carey (Henry Ramsden), nephew Shayne, and great niece Kyleigh. She was the best organizer of trips, parties, and started the birthday club in London. Gloria worked for the London Police Department for 40 years, and we were all proud of her accomplishments. Cremation has taken place. A family memorial service for Gloria will be streamed live from the funeral home on Saturday April 10th, 2021 at 1 pm with The Reverend Canon John Anderson officiating. Interment St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery. All attendees as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario must wear a mask at all visitations and funerals.
