Longworth, Glenda Louise (nee Page)
It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that our family announces the passing of Glenda at 77, who peacefully left us on June 3, 2021. A devoted wife to Richard for 56 years, beloved mother of Lynlea, proud mother-in-law of Mark and adoring Grammee for CJ, Xander and Mia. Predeceased by her brother Donald Page and his wife Johanne.
Glenda was an outstanding primary school teacher in Montreal and Vancouver, children thrived in her care. She was adored by her students and an inspiration to her colleagues. Her special gift was literacy and public speaking. We will miss you more than words can ever describe.
Respecting Glenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are in the care of Tubman Funeral Homes. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the ALS Society. Condolences may be made at www.tubmanfuneralhomes.com
