RINN, Gladys Edith (Shier) – Passed away peacefully at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll, on Thursday, April 8th, 2021, in her 105th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Rinn (1984). Loved mother of Cheryl (Al) Lockhart and Marie (Dr. David) Peden. Cherished grandmother of Andrea (Jason) Wright, Mark (Ashley) Hominick, Susan (Alec) Lockhart and Kate Lockhart. Proud Great Grandma to Allison Wright, Rachel Wright, Leah Lockhart, Gavin Lockhart, Raeya Hominick and Lainey Hominick. Special grandma to Martha Peden and Alison Donkers. Predeceased by her parents Wesley Shier and Edith (nee Swallow) Shier, siblings Clarence Shier, Viola (Clare Winger) (Ralph Denham) Winger, Netta (Charles) Law, Marion (Victor) Chatten, and Roy (Margaret) Shier and much-loved son in-law Paul Hominick. Gladys will always be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gladys was a life member of the Westminster United Church UCW and the Parkwood Hospital Auxiliary and also served as a volunteer at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll. A private service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, London.
