Obituary of Gianni Fronzi
Peacefully at the FJ Davey Home, with his family by his side, on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved husband and companion of Anna for 70 years. Much loved father of Mandy Schell (Bob), Rita Taraborrelli (late Eddy) and Cathy Paciocco (John Paul). We take great peace knowing Gianni is now reunited with his cherished grandson, Tim Schell. Proud Nonno of Krystle Plastino, Michael Taraborrelli, Stefan Paciocco and Paul Paciocco. Bisnonno of Jimmy and Lorelai Schell, Mikey, Frankie and Gordie Plastino and Luca Eddy Taraborrelli. Eldest brother of Benito (Tita), Marta (Teoto) and Franco (Elda) and predeceased by Vanda (Sergio), Vincenzo and Eugenio (Quantia).
Born in Montemaggiore al Metauro, Italy, Gianni immigrated to Canada as a young man in search of a better life for his family. A hard-working and skilled bricklayer, in retirement Gianni enjoyed tending to his gardens, cooking with passion for his family and being a proud member of Soo 48 Club where he took great pleasure being with the Italian community. A life well-lived. Bravo Babbo until we meet again.
A private family service will be held. Memorial donations the FJ Davey Home Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to the staff of Cedar Grove 2 at the FJ Davey Home for their care and compassion.
