Obituary
After a lengthy battle with cancer, Gerard passed peacefully away surrounded by his family on Dec.15/21. Predeceased by his parents Hugh Fitzgerald and Mary Marsh, sisters Roseann and Carmel and grandson Zachary. Leaving to mourn his son, Hughie (Autumn), daughter, Nicole (Josh) and their mother, Linda Fitzgerald. The light of his life, his grandchildren Olivia and Harrison. His sisters Brenda (Robert), Cathy (Carl), brothers Keith (WandaLee) and Steven, and many loving family and friends. A heartfelt thanks to special friends Tina White and Valerie Fiander.
We, his family, would like to thank the amazing staff of Winslow Ridge for such dedicated care in the last few months of Gerard’s life. Thank you to the cancer clinic and Dr.’s Fardy and Sediki , also the staff of Palliative Care.
At Gerard’s request, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 at 10:30am.This service is open to the public for attendance.
