Obituary for
Georgia Bobbi Lynn Langille
«Most people only dream of angels, we held one in our arms»
Georgia Bobbi Lynn Langille received her angel wings on October 22, 2021. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family tucked in her bed feeling so much love.
Georgia touched the lives of so many. Our sweet peach, the light of our lives, is survived by her Daddy, Fraser; Mommy, Kristen and amazing Big Sister, Abbie. Also, Grandparents, Sonny & Lynn Langille and Uncle Scott; family friends, Tasha, Johnathan, Lexi; bestie, Lydia, Tessa and Dea.
Georgia, aka Mini Mouse, and her family were fortunate to visit the happiest place on earth through the Make a Wish Foundation in 2016, where they made many wonderful family memories. Despite her challenges, she was embraced with love and acceptance by the Big Hearts at Harmony Heights Elementary. Georgia was a big fan of sports! She enjoyed her time playing challenger baseball with her friends, spending time on the side lines cheering for Abbie over the years, and most of all, snuggling in her Daddy’s arms on evenings and weekends watching sports.
Georgia had a village behind her and we would like to say a special thank you to Colchester East Hants Health Centre, The IWK Children’s Hospital, her VON Team – Vicki Doyle, the IWK 7th floor PMU nurses, PICU nurses – Brie, her pediatricians, Dr. Kathy Cox, Dr. Marilyn McPherson and Dr. Aubrey, as well as Dr. Stacie Colwell and Julie Mitchell.
Georgia’s family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone that followed Georgia’s Journey and for your continued support over the years. The next time you see a rainbow in the sky or catch sight of a butterfly, think of Georgia dancing, singing and flying free.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 7th from 1:00-4:00pm in The Peg-Masstown Market, 10675 Trunk 2, Masstown, NS
