George Ritchie Rosborough
May 16, 1937 – July 24, 2021
We are saddened to announce the passing of our brother George Rosborough, peacefully at Carleton Manor Woodstock NB, 24 July 2021
George had been a resident at the manor for 7 years. We wish to thank staff and fellow residents for the excellent care and attention that George received while there.
Born in Avondale May 16, 1937, George started his career at the Bank of Montreal in Fredericton but after a short time returned to the family farm he loved and worked there alongside his father, mother, and brothers until his retirement. George enjoyed his time working on the farm.
He is survived by his sister Norma Bird, Woodstock, and brother Robert (Bob) Rosborough, New Glasgow, NS. Also, nephews Larry (Susan) Rosborough, Hebbville, NS and Brian Rosborough, Toronto, Ont, as well as two grand nephews, Jake (Ashley) Rosborough, Halifax and Luke (Becca) Rosborough, Fredericton.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Ida (Henry) Rosborough, brothers Donald and Fred. Also predeceased by sister-in-law Ferne Rosborough, brother-in-law Wally Bird and sister-in-law June Rosborough
A private graveside service was held at The Barony Cemetery.
