Obituary for
George Herman Connock
It is with great sadness that the family of George Herman Connock announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Center at Grand Falls-Windsor on Monday, August 23, 2021, age 80 years of Seal Cove.
George leaves to mourn his loving family: daughters, Tina (Junior Abbott) at Seal Cove, FB, Jeannette (Gary Nash) and Christa (Rennie Simms), all at Hermitage; son, Kevin (Angela) at Seal Cove, FB; grandchildren, Megan, Bethany, Jenny, Georgia and Jaxon; great granddaughters, Kinsley and Kaitlyn; sisters, Ann (Alfred Pack) at St. John’s, Melita (Simeon Harris) at Seal Cove and Melva Clarke at Grand Bank; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
George was predeceased by his wife, Marion; sister, Laura; brother in law, Rueben Clarke; parents, Walter and Martha Connock.
Walk-Through visitation will take place at the Salvation Army, Seal Cove on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
Family Service will take place at the Salvation Army, Seal Cove at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 by invitation only. COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
Funeral Service (by invitation only) will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Salvation Army Church in Seal Cove with Majors Osbourne and Roxanne Randell officiating. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove. COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
