George Herman Madden 1928 2021

George Herman Madden, 93, of Riverview, NB passed away
peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, November 15,
2021. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Harold and
Maude (Hatt) Madden.
George retired from the Moncton Times and Transcript after 28
years and proceeded to work at his favorite hobby as a finished
carpenter. His past times were watching the Toronto Maple Leafs and
the Toronto Blue Jays. George was also an avid
bowler.
George is survived by his wife, Waive (MacDonald) of 61
years. Four sons, Clayton «Bud» (Linda), Stephen (Linda),
David (Lori), Kevin (Rose) and two daughters, Carol Sharpe (Late Reg)
and Kim. Grandchildren Steve Jr., Andrew, Connor, Haley, Micah, and
Nicholas. Great Grandchildren, Cassandra, Lucas, Lexi, Thomas, Elijah,
Aurora, and Emma. Also survived by his sister, Margaret and his
Brother, Carl and by several special nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents he is predeceased by brothers, Bill and
Frank and a sister, Madeline.
The funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview
Funeral Home Chapel, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Friday,
November 19, 2021 at 11:30am with Rev. Hugh Farquhar
officiating.
Interment will be in Fair Haven Memorial
Gardens.
Donations in George’s memory made to the memorial of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
